FOLLOW-UP AFTER AMSTERDAM REALTIME Out of a series of international city offerings, we chose Riga, capital of Latvia, as the place to restage the Realtime project. This first local implementation will be done by RIXC, a cultural medialab. Mid-May will see anotherArt + Communication festival, organised by RIXC, which in 2003 will focus on architecture, space and new media. The Realtime Riga version is a coproduction with RIXC, taking place during the festival. Mid-April 2003 two members from Waag Society traveled to Riga to set up the project wtogether with the people from RIXC. There's a report online of these preparations (transfer of software, installation, testing GPS, testing GPRS etc.).
